This is another of the Christmas ornaments that I have been busy stitching.

I made this fiber art piece for one of my nieces. We spent many hours playing Scrabble, Monopoly, Bingo, Yahtzee, Trouble, Candyland, etc. I thought this piece might trigger some great memories.

I just returned home after spending ten days at the beach. While I was there, I took some time to work on some of my "junk" art pieces. There are a couple of shops in the area that sell these pieces for me. One shop is The Grove in Mexico Beach. It is a very cute shop with great items (www.thegroveofmexicobeach.com)

The Trinity School Artist Market in Atlanta was last week and I sold three out of my four pieces. I was thrilled! The artwork there was amazing and I was very honored to be asked to participate. So, this week I am definitely looking on the sunny side.
I made this piece for Monica, my 33 year old niece, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last October. She has just completed her 4th out of 6 chemo treatments. It is kind of hard to see the words on the piece, but two of the flowers have the names of her children on them. (Jett is 7 years old and Mattie Louise is 4)

This is a piece that I made a few years ago.
